The Modern Insights Suite Leveraging Your Diverse Data and AI Investments
Princeton, NJ, United States — March 15, 2026
Qarbine, the Modern Data Collaboration and AI Suite™, today announced Release 1.9, introducing hybrid catalog semantic search, expanded database integrations, and broader AI service support. This release further strengthens Qarbine’s position as a unified platform for real-time analytics, AI-driven insights, and collaborative data workflows.
Hybrid Search for Catalog Intelligence
Release 1.9 introduces enhanced Catalog Component Management with hybrid search capabilities that combine full-text search (FTS) and semantic search. Powered by locally hosted Xenova embeddings, Qarbine enables faster, more context-aware discovery of data assets without requiring external AI services. This approach improves relevance, reduces latency, and keeps sensitive data processing local.
Expanded Cloud and Edge Data Integrations
Qarbine delivers the most extensive multi-model native data access layers available. This eliminates reliance on brittle ETL pipelines and enables real-time interaction with operational data in its native form. Qarbine significantly broadens its data platform support with new integrations across both hyperscale and edge environments:
- Native AWS S3 support across buckets, tables, and vector storage,
- Full integration with Cloudflare’s data ecosystem including D1, KV, R2, and Vectorize, and
- Comprehensive SurrealDB support spanning relational (SQL), document, graph, vector, time series, geospatial, and full-text search modalities.
Expanded AI Ecosystem
Release 1.9 adds support for Cerebras and Cloudflare Workers AI, bringing Qarbine’s total AI integrations to 20+ services. This includes OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, and DeepSeek. Qarbine’s built-in “Ask AI” and no-code Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities allow users to:
- Query live data using natural language,
- Combine vector search with structured analytics, and
- Generate insights directly from operational and analytical systems.
Differentiated Native JSON Analytics
Qarbine continues to differentiate with deep native JSON support, enabling direct interaction with complex, nested data structures without flattening or transformation. This reduces query complexity, avoids data duplication, and ensures analytics remain accurate and up to date.
